This policy explains what information Alex Lanka collects on alexlanka.com and onAlex Play Zone (games.alexlanka.com), how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

On alexlanka.com you do not create an account. Like most websites, our server keeps basic technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) to keep the site secure and working.

On Alex Play Zone, depending on how you use it:

• Guest play: the nickname you choose.
• Accounts: nickname, email address and a securely hashed password (we never store your password itself). Optionally, a phone number you add to your profile.
• Gameplay: your matches and moves (for your Battle Log and replays), XP, coins, items and the leaderboard.
• Social features: your friends list, friend requests, chat messages and notifications.
• Approximate country: worked out from your IP address on our own server, only to show a country flag next to your name. Your IP address is not sent to any third party for this.

2. How we use it

• To run the games, save your progress and show your match history.
• To let you play and chat with friends, and to show nicknames, avatars and flags to other players.
• To send account emails you ask for, such as email-verification codes.
• To keep the service secure, prevent cheating and fix problems.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Cookies and local storage

Alex Play Zone stores a small amount of data in your browser (local storage) to keep you logged in and remember settings such as sound on/off. This is necessary for the games to work.

4. Advertising

alexlanka.com may show ads served by Google. There are no ads inside the games on Alex Play Zone.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.

5. Sharing

Your nickname, avatar, XP, country flag and game results are visible to other players. Match history can be viewed by you and, on Alex Play Zone, by your accepted friends. We share information with service providers only as needed to run the service (for example hosting and email delivery), or when required by law.

6. Data retention and deletion

We keep your information while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time through our contact page, from the email address on the account.

7. Security

Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, verification codes are stored only as hashes, and connections use HTTPS. No online service is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

8. Children

Our games are suitable for all ages, but accounts are not intended for children under 13 without a parent’s permission. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will remove it.
