Board games that bring people together
Alex Lanka is a small, independent project from Sri Lanka. We build Alex Play Zone — a place to play the board games we all grew up with, online, with the people you care about.
Why we built it
Games like Ludo and Carrom have always been about sitting around a board with family and friends. Life scatters us across cities and countries, but a good game still brings people together. We wanted that feeling back — with nothing to install, no confusing menus, and nothing getting in the way of the game.
What we believe in
- Games first, no interruptions. There are no ads inside the games on Alex Play Zone. When you are playing, you are playing.
- Fair play. Every move is checked and every dice roll is made on our server, so no one can cheat or fix a result.
- Free for everyone. All games are free, and you can play as a guest without creating an account.
- Made for phones. Most people play on their phones, so every game is designed to work well on a small screen first.
How this site is supported
Alex Play Zone costs money to run — servers, a database and a domain. To keep the games themselves free and ad-free, this site (alexlanka.com) may show advertising. That is the only place you will see ads.
