These terms apply to alexlanka.com (“the site”), run by Alex Lanka. By using the site you agree to them. The games themselves are played on Alex Play Zone (games.alexlanka.com), which has its own Terms & Conditions covering accounts, fair play and conduct in games.

1. What this site is

The site describes the games we make and publishes rules, guides and tips for playing them. It is free to read and you do not need an account. We may add, change or remove pages at any time.

2. Who may use it

Anyone may read the site. If you are under 18, please use it with the permission of a parent or guardian. Alex Play Zone itself is for players aged 13 and over.

3. Our content

The text, images, artwork, logos and design of the site belong to Alex Lanka or are used under licence. The rules of traditional games such as chess, checkers, ludo and carrom are not ours and belong to everyone; our explanations of them, and our pictures of the games, are.

• You may read, share links to and quote short passages from the site, with a link back to the page.
• You may not copy whole pages, republish our guides as your own, or use our images or logos without permission.

4. Accuracy

We write the rules and guides carefully and correct mistakes when we find them, but they are offered for general information and enjoyment. Where a page here and the rules shown inside a game disagree, the game decides. Tell us through the contact page if you spot something wrong.

5. Messages you send us

When you use the contact form, give your real email address so that we can reply, and do not send anything unlawful, abusive or belonging to someone else. How we handle the details you send is described in ourPrivacy Policy.

6. Advertising

The site may show advertisements, including through Google AdSense, to help pay for running the games — which are themselves kept free of ads. Advertisers and their sites are not under our control, and an advertisement is not a recommendation from us. Cookies used for advertising are explained in thePrivacy Policy.

Pages here link to Alex Play Zone and, occasionally, to other websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of sites we do not run.
